Coupon Basics

First you need a 3 ring binder, baseball protector sheets or currency sheets, and dividers.(or whatever is easiest for you)Oh and a big help is to go to the store's website and print off there coupon policy, go over it and keep it with you because sometimes you are going to need it.
Buy a paper for every member in your household. I sometimes buy more if there are some good deals that I just can't pass up. One of the best coupon sources are the Sunday paper, facebook (yes facebook, and will tell you more about that in a minute), and coupon sites. The P&G saver only comes every now ( every 2 weeks I believe) and then in the Sunday but the Smart Source and Red Plum are in everyone. I match all of mine up and then staple them together and cut them out at once and organize them in my binder. I go through the sale ads, and online. On facebook, if you type in frugal, coupon, you will be able to get some good posts that give great coupons. Another thing to do on facebook is to type in the product, for example Tide, click like and they have free samples that they will send you and coupons. I just received scotchbrite sponges in the mail 2 days ago. You get the drift. Ok on to saving on food......most of the stuff you can get for free like Ketchup. You can pretty much get Heinz Ketchup for free during the summer months or when  you know that the grills are coming back out, so when it comes to food you really have to check the sales papers and online to really get the good savings. Kroger is a really friendly coupon place and great deals. They double coupons up to a dollar. I find that other than Kroger, CVS, Walgreens, are all great places to find great deals. It takes patience, and research, but once you get started and get the hang of it, you won't want to stop and you look forward to that Sunday paper.  Until I can post some more later on here are some websites that I go to for coupons. www.passionforsavings.comwww.southernsavers.comwww.couponmom.comwww.coupondivas.com.

GREAT DEAL AND POSSIBLE MONEY MAKER!!!
In the November 20th Smart Source Coupon, they have a coupon for $30.00 off of Phillips Norellco razors. Do not  always go by the picture on the coupon. You can use this $30.00 coupon for any of the Phillips Norellco razor. There is one that is on sale at Wal-mart for $27.97, which would make the purchase free with coupon, or you can get the beard, nose, ear, etc. trimmer that is on sale for $14.97 and you get the remaining of the $30.00 coupon. I bought two of the $14.97 trimmers, and plus a toy which was $10.00 and after my two $30.00 coupon, I received $18.41 back! I never thought that I would get paid to shop. The trick is to find a cashier that is coupon friendly. Some say the college kids, or teenagers, but it really just depends on who you click with. For instance, Thursday, they didn't have as many razors I needed, so I just got a few , and when I went through the checkout (my usual one and same girl) the CSM has to do their thing to open the drawer. I was suppose to get  around $24 and she wasn't in a good mood and said no that is was not the right coupon, I nicely tried to explain that I had already asked about the product matching the coupon and the cashier backed me up but this lady was not budging. So I took my coupons nicely and left and went back yesterday and got it. These razors are a great gift for the guys. My husband loves his! Happy Shopping. I have more savings to post later, but this is a good way to get motivated.

Coupons

I know that couponing has become a new fad and I, for one, am addicted. I just love saving money. I am a stay at home mom with 2 kids. One is in school and the other is only 20 months old. I have been married going on 9 years, and loving every minute of it. He works in construction and we all know how sometimes an iconvience of rain can put a dent in the paycheck, this is how I really got turned on to couponing with the help of my mother and sister. I now have my stock pile started worth between $500.00-$700.00, and maybe paid 60.00. (if that much) I am very proud of my start our stock pile, but it is growing more every week. I try to go atleast once a week if their is a good sale, because prices hit Rock Bottom in a 6-8 week period. So I try to buy enough to get by until the next drop. I buy a Sunday paper for every member in my household, unless there are some really good deals that I can really stock up on, for instance: Cover Girl had a coupon for $8.00 off of 2. I had 46 makeups and the total was 223.26 and  I only paid $20.00. I have two girls that will be teenagers one day and we all know how expensive that is! After buying food and paying bills, you have very little to buy the other neccesities that you may need. So couponing really comes in handy with everything that you need except for the bills. LoL I wish I could get coupons for to save on the mortgage. lol  Please feel free to ask anything I will be glad to answer.
